The first 5G IoT-NTN satellite communication SoC chip of Unisoc.

The V8821 is the first satellite communication SoC chip of Unisoc. It adopts the advanced 22nm process and integrates the baseband, transceiver, power management integrated circuit (PMIC), and flash memory/static random-access memory (FLASH/SRAM). It supports the Release 17 IoT-NTN standard and can achieve the functions of two-way voice calls and data transmission. With features such as low power consumption and a small footprint, it can be applied in fields like direct satellite connection for mobile phones, wearable products, satellite Internet of Things products, and satellite vehicle networking products.

Flexible hardware configuration

The hardware resources in the customer's original solutions, such as the power amplifier (PA), can be reused.

It can be paired with Unisoc's radio frequency solutions. 

Low power consumption, wide voltage range, and wide temperature range. It is compatible with more types of batteries and suitable for a wider variety of temperature conditions.
