5G-A

UNISOC works closely with its ecosystem partners to accelerate the commercial coverage of 5G-A. We are actively engaged in technical discussions and drafting new specifications for CCSA, IMT-2020, and 5G AIA, while also focusing on areas such as UDD, deterministic networks, NTN, and RedCap. We are developing chipset solutions that with R18 features, enabling user devices such as smartphones, PCs, XR devices, and smartwatches to adapt to the new 5G-A networks.

5G RedCap

UNISOC is deeply involved in finalizing the RedCap industry standards, taking the lead in interoperability tests with a number of major equipment manufacturers. These tests cover a variety of application scenarios and performance metrics. The company is also driving the evolution of enhanced RedCap (R18 eRedCap) technology, with UNISOC’s 5G RedCap IoT chipset platform, the V517, and associated devices already in mass production for the global market.
