Allowing everyone to benefit from technological advancements is one of the most important aspects of technological progress. UNISOC is committed to making technology accessible to more people, promoting a fairer and more harmonious society.
Young people are the future, and UNISOC is passionate about sparking their interest in technology. Our "Chip Spark" classroom program introduces students to the world of chips, 5G, and AI through hands-on learning and interactive activities. This comprehensive approach helps young students understand the mysteries behind chips, sparking their interest in technology and nurturing future talent.
Every year, over 10,000 teachers and students take part in our science education initiatives across China. For example, in May 2024, UNISOC partnered with the Beijing 101 Middle School to host a science carnival entitled "Technology Dream, Exploring the World". The innovative "Chip Spark" classroom provided students with a unique experience, covering chip technology, 5G, and AI applications through fun, interactive sessions.

In late November 2024, UNISOC brought the "Chip Spark" classroom to Shanghai Zhangjiang Experimental Middle School, offering engaging science courses to over 500 students. These programs aim to inspire curiosity, foster innovation, and help build a scientific and technological powerhouse.

Nearly 3 billion people still do not have internet access, most of them in developing countries and rural areas. UNISOC believes that technology should be able to reach everyone, wherever they are. That is why we don't just focus on innovation and breakthroughs, but also on making our innovations accessible and practical.

By the end of 2022, China had over 280 million people aged 60 and above, making up nearly 20% of the population. Almost 210 million of these were aged 65 and above, representing 14.9% of the total population. While technology has transformed modern standards of elderly care, it has also created a "digital divide" for senior citizens. Therefore, a key social issue of modern times is how to tackle the technology needs of the elderly.
UNISOC is currently addressing this issue by partnering with collaborators to develop senior-friendly devices like smart phones and health smartwatches. These devices are still based on the outstanding technical capabilities of UNISOC's chipsets, but are designed primarily with simplicity in mind—physical buttons, large fonts, and louder audio settings—making them easy for seniors to use. They also include health features like heart rate monitoring, SOS alerts, activity tracking, and sleep monitoring. By the end of 2024, UNISOC had helped 80 million Chinese seniors connect to the digital world, bridging the divide and improving their lives.

Every parent wants their child to grow up safe and happy, and technology is now playing a large role in making that happen. UNISOC is a leader in the children’s smartwatch market, providing devices that not only keep kids safe and healthy, but also provide their parents with an instant, accurate means of locating and communicating with them.
In partnership with Xiaotiancai, China’s top children’s watch brand, we are continuing to drive innovation in this segment. Our smart wearable platform stay safe, learn, and remain in touch with family and friends.
