The board of Directors of UNISOC unanimously agreed to appoint Mr. Ren Qiwei as the acting CEO of the company, Mr. Steve Chu will no longer serve as the CEO of the company. Mr. Ren Qiwei will work closely with Chairman Wu Shengwu to lead UNISOC and continue to make breakthroughs in key areas, especially in 5G chipsets. This management change arises from a normal internal personnel adjustment, UNISOC’s production and operational activities will be carried out as normal.

Mr. Ren Qiwei is a famous industry technical expert with years of demonstrated business experience in the semiconductor field. He previously worked in semiconductor companies, including Philips; Qimonda AG, Inspur Group and Unigroup for more than 20 years. With a focus on research & development and the mass production & sales of integrated circuit products. It is believed that Mr. Ren Qiwei will be very valuable for UNISOC and his leadership will help further enhance UNISOC’s management, accelerate research and development of core products, and promote the company’s overall market growth and sales to achieve even greater success.
