Wearable technology is becoming increasingly popular today, putting technology at the service of people in every way. Smart wearable devices are expanding from basic consumer applications to more diversified scenarios, and as the closest interaction between people and technology, the demand of users for information security protection of smart wearable devices is also increasing.
As world's leading platform chip design company, UNISOC keep innovating and developing in smart wearables, and committed to provide advance technology, efficiency, safety and reliable solutions to customers.
The W377 smartwatch chip further enhanced security protection, with the operating system upgraded to Android 8.1, which has a more secure mechanism and stricter restrictions on background services, and overall improved protection for information security such as identity identification, access control, data security, security audit and personal information protection.
W377 has dual-core Arm Cortex A53 processor, running at 1.3GHz, a compact package size, and significantly improved multimedia capabilities over the previous generation. W377 integrates 2G/3G/4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GNSS, flexible PCB layout. It is 28nm HPC+ process, which can balance the performance and power consumption better on this platform and improves energy efficiency by more than 30%. W377 has the advantages on both high performance and low power consumption, and designed to fit into a wide variety of devices such as smart watches.
W377 supports 4G and 4G+ network connection and 4G + Wi-Fi HD video call, with stable and high-speed connection, and unhindered call and positioning in more than 200 countries and regions around the world. With UNISOC nine-fold positioning technology, W377 provides high-precision positioning SDK and cloud platform, which can achieve sub-meter accuracy, laying a solid technical base for various high-precision positioning services.
With its ultra-low-power consumption, rich interfaces, powerful multimedia capabilities, advanced audio algorithm processing and other technical advantages, the W377 will power smart terminal manufacturers to design a wide variety of devices.
To meet needs of different markets and user groups, UNISOC has built two smartwatch product series, one based on Android system and the other based on UNISOC RTOS system. Devices equipped with UNISOC wearable chips have been widely used in all age groups, children, young generation and elderly users.
